Role Overview

SentinelOne seeks a Staff Software Engineer for the Exposure Management group in Israel. The person in this role acts as the senior technical leader across multiple teams, establishes architectural direction, and integrates artificial intelligence into development processes and product features.

Key Responsibilities

Establish and govern the overarching architecture for Exposure Management from inception to production.
Lead major cross-team engineering initiatives through hands-on contribution and cross-functional alignment.
Integrate artificial intelligence into product offerings, including large language models and agent-based capabilities, alongside AI-assisted development practices.
Determine engineering standards while balancing technology adoption and technical debt.
Collaborate with leadership and product management to translate business objectives into technical roadmaps.

Requirements

Minimum of 6 years of practical software engineering background, featuring technical leadership experience.
Background in designing high-scale APIs, data models, and distributed event-driven architectures utilizing systems like Kafka or SQS.
Proficiency in hands-on coding, algorithms, system design, and testing methodologies.
Ability to influence multiple teams without formal authority, demonstrate accountability, and navigate ambiguous situations.

Nice to Have

Hands-on experience developing with large language models, retrieval-augmented generation, agents, and evaluation frameworks.
Previous sector background in cybersecurity, covering vulnerability management, CNAPP, or attack surface management.
