Role Overview

Staff engineers take full ownership of technical design and delivery across the full stack while helping shape product architecture in a rapidly evolving market.

Key Responsibilities

Own the end-to-end technical design and delivery of core enterprise-facing products across the full stack.
Partner directly with product, design, and go-to-market teams to translate customer workflows into shipped software.
Set high technical standards for the team regarding architecture, code quality, and building processes.
Engage directly with enterprise customers and sales to translate feedback into engineering priorities.
Collaborate with research teams to shape evaluations, surface failure modes, and improve domain-specific model capabilities.
Mentor other engineers and raise the overall technical bar using influence rather than authority.
Build goal-oriented, multi-player, asynchronous agents driven by webhooks, forms, or emails.

Requirements

Minimum of 8 years of software engineering experience, including 2+ years at a Staff or equivalent technical leadership level.
Proven experience leading the design and delivery of complex B2B or enterprise products across the full stack.
Practical background in building AI products that turn model capabilities into real-world applications.
Comfort working directly with enterprise customers to guide technical decisions.
Experience building 0-to-1 products in fast-moving environments without established precedent.
Demonstrated ability to drive cross-team alignment and lead through influence.
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
Availability to work in a hybrid capacity, spending at least 25% of time in the San Francisco or New York City offices.
