Role Overview

In DevX Core, the engineer drives technical direction for the Console and documentation platform, establishing standards for internal teams building on the Console. In SDKs, the role oversees multi-language SDKs and the command-line interface, ensuring new platform capabilities launch smoothly with robust code generation, testing, and release pipelines.

Key Responsibilities

Shape technical direction for the Console and documentation platform from initial problem definition to final launch.
Establish platform patterns and architectural standards that internal teams utilize when shipping features onto the Console.
Own software development kits across seven languages and the CLI to support human developers and coding agents.
Partner early with API teams to integrate new platform capabilities into SDKs as idiomatic and ergonomic features on day one.
Drive automated code generation, testing, and release pipelines to maintain consistency and fast delivery across multiple languages.

Requirements

A minimum of 8 years of practical full-stack engineering experience, including 2 or more years operating at a Staff or equivalent technical leadership level.
Demonstrated expertise in designing and delivering complex, developer-facing products across the full stack.
Strong technical depth in modern frontend and backend development.
Experience working in early-stage startups or rapidly evolving, fast-paced environments, with a history of building products from the ground up.
Proven ability to mentor peers, foster professional growth, and drive cross-team alignment using influence over authority.
Experience establishing engineering standards, component architectures, and development best practices.
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
Ability to work under a location-based hybrid policy requiring time in the San Francisco or New York City offices.
