Plan and deploy high-availability serving architectures across multiple cloud providers and geographic regions.
Lead incident response protocols for crucial artificial intelligence services, facilitating quick recovery, comprehensive reviews, and systemic enhancements.
Maintain high reliability for safeguard model serving to uphold safety commitments and site dependability.

Requirements

Strong background in distributed systems, infrastructure, or reliability engineering.
Curiosity and willingness to navigate unfamiliar systems during incidents to drive resolution.
Holistic perspective regarding system composition and integration seams.
Ability to forge strong, collaborative relationships across different teams.
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and professional experience.
Availability to work on a location-based hybrid policy, requiring time in the office as needed.

Nice to Have

Previous experience working as a Site Reliability Engineer or Production Engineer on large-scale systems.
Background operating large-scale model training or serving infrastructure utilizing over one thousand graphics processing units.
Familiarity with machine learning hardware accelerators such as TPUs, GPUs, or Trainium.
Knowledge of machine learning specific networking optimizations including InfiniBand and RDMA.
Expertise in artificial intelligence oriented observability frameworks and tools.
Experience executing chaos engineering and systematic resilience testing.
Contributions to open-source machine learning tooling or infrastructure.
