What you will do
- Select, design, and integrate industrial robot and cobot applications for manufacturing automation from initial concept through full production deployment.
- Develop, optimize, and debug robot programs encompassing motion planning, safety configurations, and vision-based guidance.
- Design and manage robot cell layouts including safety enclosures, work envelopes, and necessary infrastructure.
- Implement and verify safety functions such as STO and SLS in accordance with relevant industrial safety standards.
- Develop and execute simulation models to validate robot reach, cycle time, and potential collisions before physical implementation.
- Establish and enforce internal standards for robotic system design, programming, safety, and integration.
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners like controls engineers, mechanical designers, and production staff to ensure seamless integration.
- Provide technical leadership across multiple programs while mentoring and developing the internal robotics team.
What you need
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Robotics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a closely related field.
