Role Overview

In this capacity, the professional will identify opportunities to accelerate workflows using AI agents, integrations, and intelligent automation patterns. The engineer maps structured and unstructured data flows across enterprise systems, designs future-state operations with appropriate human-in-the-loop checkpoints, and builds reliable pipelines. Success in this role means deploying scalable solutions that fundamentally improve business throughput, speed, and coverage.

Key Responsibilities

Map existing and potential operational workflows within a specific business domain to discover major efficiency opportunities.
Design target workflows by analyzing data flows across CRMs, ERPs, ticketing platforms, and document stores.
Build and connect systems by standing up automation pipelines and configuring tools, prompts, context, and retrieval frameworks.
Manage production agent performance end-to-end, tracking critical KPIs such as throughput, quality, cost, and cycle time.
Implement observability measures, including tracing, structured logging, and continuous evaluations before shipping changes.

Requirements

Hands-on technical fluency encompassing CLIs, APIs, webhooks, SQL, and Python scripting.
Working knowledge of large language model and agent behaviors, including prompting, context management, tool use, RAG, MCP, and failure modes.
Comfortable working within cloud computing platforms.
Strict adherence to least-privilege access, auditability, and safe rollback practices.
Strong process judgment with the ability to balance complex technical requirements and business objectives.

Nice to Have

Prior experience collaborating directly with business stakeholders to deliver measurable outcomes.
Practical background using enterprise agentic platforms like CrewAI, LangChain, AWS Bedrock, Claude, or direct model APIs.
Professional background in product management, consulting, technical operations, or solutions engineering.
Familiarity working inside regulated environments including HIPAA, SOC 2, GxP, or SOX.

Standard cost of living areas base salary range: $125,000 to $156,300 USD per year.
Higher cost of living areas base salary range: $137,500 to $171,900 USD per year.
Lower cost of living areas base salary range: $112,600 to $140,700 USD per year.
