Success requires deep familiarity with security audiences combined with the versatility to handle multiple marketing functions ranging from content creation to analytics.
What you will do
- Coordinate and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy for cybersecurity across key enterprise segments and security operations.
- Craft differentiated positioning and messaging across solutions pages, campaign materials, and content for distinct audiences within the vertical.
- Support go-to-market efforts for product and solution launches including sector-specific offerings and relevant platform integrations.
- Partner with alliances to drive joint go-to-market initiatives and integrated campaign moments across security partners.
- Collaborate with communications on executive thought leadership regarding AI's potential in cyber defense.
- Enable sales teams with compelling materials, outbound campaigns, and pipeline-driving initiatives for security-led accounts.
What you need
- Direct experience marketing software products to security audiences with familiarity in how CISOs and security engineering teams evaluate technology.
- Ability to thrive in a zero-to-one environment by building processes where none exist and navigating ambiguity.
- Experience as an adaptable generalist with exposure across multiple marketing functions such as content, campaigns, and social analytics.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to translate complex AI capabilities into clear narratives.
- Ability to quickly absorb context regarding security workflows, buyer dynamics, and compliance frameworks.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills to act as the connective tissue between product, sales, partnerships, and marketing.

What is the remote or office policy for this role?
Staff are expected to be able to work from the Washington, D.C. or San Francisco office at least once a month for cross-functional stakeholder engagement. The broader location-based hybrid policy expects all staff to be in one of the offices at least 25% of the time.
What is the compensation for this position?
The annual compensation range for this role is $320,000 to $320,000 USD. For sales roles, the provided range represents On Target Earnings.
What level of experience is required?
The position prefers candidates with 8+ years of marketing experience, including at least 2 years of experience in cybersecurity, security operations, or the broader security technology space.
