What you will do
- Implement continuous improvements to the existing suite of service and fleet software.
- Engage directly with service, logistics, and operations stakeholders to address pain points and gather user stories.
- Increase overall test coverage to catch downstream issues and improve software usability.
- Develop intuitive user interfaces and workflows to streamline warehouse operations and deliver key insights.
What you need
- Bring four or more years of professional industry experience as a software engineer.
- Hold a Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Demonstrate strong proficiency in Python, TypeScript, and Linux operating systems.
- Exhibit demonstrable systems design experience for complex applications.
- Prove past success in deploying and maintaining highly available, reliable, and fault-tolerant applications on Kubernetes.
- Apply best practices in software engineering including source control management with Git and test-driven development using Pytest, Vitest, and Playwright.
Nice to have
- Previous work in robotics, automotive, or consumer electronics manufacturing
- Experience managing deployments to Microsoft Azure
- Experience with Bazel and/or Terraform
