Role Overview

The Software Engineer position focuses on expanding AI accessibility for underserved communities and mission-driven groups. Professionals in this position collaborate closely with product managers, partnerships groups, and field teams to prototype and validate solutions designed for resource-constrained environments.

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement infrastructure supporting accessible, self-serve onboarding and verification systems for global markets.
Translate the needs of underserved communities into scalable technical and product solutions.
Build flexible pricing, billing, and provisioning systems balancing accessibility with sustainability for resource-constrained organizations.
Develop integrations connecting Claude with mission-critical tools utilized by researchers, educators, healthcare workers, and nonprofits.
Construct multilingual and accessibility capabilities across platforms alongside impact-measurement systems.
Guarantee platform reliability and performance for mission-critical deployments within humanitarian contexts.

Requirements

Six or more years of practical experience working as a full-stack software engineer.
Background building consumer or enterprise products prioritizing accessibility, inclusivity, or underserved populations.
Technical expertise spanning identity management, billing systems, self-serve onboarding flows, or application programming interface integrations.
A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
Ability to work under a location-based hybrid policy requiring staff presence in the office at least twenty-five percent of the time.

Nice to Have

Familiarity with international markets, multilingual products, or accessibility features.
Background working in nonprofit technology, social impact startups, or mission-driven organizations.
Experience dealing with artificial intelligence, machine learning, or large language model applications.
