Software Engineer, Battlespace Awareness
About this role
Complex data streams across tactical and strategic environments often overwhelm traditional military command systems, creating an urgent need for advanced real-time situational awareness. Anduril Industries addresses this challenge by deploying Lattice OS, an AI-driven platform that unifies thousands of sensor feeds into a single 3D operational picture. The Software Engineer for Battlespace Awareness will build high-performance algorithms, simulation tools, and machine learning models that transition directly from research into deployed mission-critical hardware.
Operating within small, agile engineering units in Broomfield, Colorado, the incoming practitioner will design software that spans everything from edge tactical systems to web interfaces. Success in this group requires a rare blend of rigorous applied mathematics, machine learning capability, and practical software engineering discipline. Candidates who enjoy tackling tangible defense problems and collaborating directly with government end users will find a fitting home here.
