Role Overview

Sierra is hiring a Software Engineer, Agent (Italian speaking) for its London office. In this role, you will design, deliver, and manage production-grade AI agents that drive revenue and growth for global brands. You will oversee the complete Agent Development Life Cycle, partnering closely with top enterprises and startups to solve complex business challenges.

Key Responsibilities

Design and ship production-grade, reliable, and intuitive AI agents for industries like commerce, healthcare, and finance.
Drive the full Agent Development Life Cycle with complete ownership from pilot deployment through ongoing iteration.
Collaborate directly with enterprise leaders and innovative startups to embed AI agents across their operational stacks.
Surface unmet customer needs, prototype novel tools, and work with research and platform teams to shape future product offerings.
Experiment with advanced voice models and integrate them securely for enterprise-scale deployment.

Requirements

Proven background in building and scaling end-to-end production systems.
Strong technical problem-solving capabilities suited for fast-moving environments.
A high-agency, builder mentality focused on creative obstacle navigation and rapid shipping.
Comfort working directly with customers to identify requirements and resolve real-world problems.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences.

Nice to Have

Previous experience building or deploying artificial intelligence and large language model systems in live production environments.
Background as a founder or founding engineer balancing craft, speed, and ownership.
Familiarity with modern AI tooling, evaluation frameworks, prompt engineering, and RAG pipelines.
Prior practical experience utilizing TypeScript, React, or Go.
Past roles involving direct customer interfacing or external stakeholder technical leadership.
