Role Overview

In this position, the engineer will lead technical execution for complex customer engagements centered on agents that navigate browsers, desktop applications, and software environments. Responsibilities include transforming ambiguous challenges into robust task environments, evaluation frameworks, and delivery plans. The professional will manage the complete lifecycle from technical discovery and design to production deployment, turning successful customer approaches into scalable company capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

Design task environments, datasets, and evaluation workflows for computer-using agents operating across multiple interfaces.
Build data-generation, validation, and quality-assurance pipelines tailored for multimodal and agentic training.
Develop automated evaluators and measurement frameworks to assess task completion, correctness, and efficiency.
Diagnose agent failures in planning, tool use, perception, and state management to improve overall performance.
Lead technical workstreams from initial solution design through production delivery in customer-facing settings.
Standardize successful solutions into reusable task frameworks, tooling, and technical guidelines.

Requirements

Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in software engineering, machine learning engineering, applied AI, or solutions engineering.
Strong coding abilities in Python with a track record of building reliable production software, data, or machine learning systems.
Hands-on background in developing, evaluating, or deploying LLM-based or agentic systems, including computer-use agents.
Proficiency in experimentation, model-based evaluation, and defining metrics to steer technical decisions.
Experience designing agent task environments, datasets, and verifiers, including reward design.
Familiarity with APIs, automation, web applications, browser-based systems, and desktop tools.
Strong communication skills paired with the ability to manage ambiguous problems and direct customer relationships.

Nice to Have

Experience building agent benchmarks, task suites, or custom simulators.
Background working with multimodal models, visual grounding, or graphical user interface evaluation.
