Role Overview

The Senior Full Stack Developer position involves leading content modeling and headless integrations for Optimizely SaaS platforms. The professional will construct high-performance frontend applications using Next.js, Next.js Middleware, and Vercel Edge Functions, collaborating directly with product, UX, and strategy teams to deliver advanced digital solutions for Fortune 500 brands.

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement adaptable content models inside Optimizely SaaS while connecting headless APIs to modern web applications.
Deploy high-speed web apps utilizing Next.js, Next.js Middleware, and Vercel Edge Functions to optimize request routing and personalization.
Drive automated content migration projects via custom scripts and AI-assisted workflows to transition enterprise data seamlessly.
Build W3C-compliant, accessible web applications and backend microservices using JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Node.js, and CSS design-system libraries.
Collaborate with product, QA, and UX teams to assess feature feasibility, translate Figma designs, and enforce accessibility and Core Web Vitals standards.
Apply software design patterns, write specification documents, conduct code reviews, and guide junior engineers within a distributed agile team.

Requirements

Five or more years of software engineering experience building large-scale web applications for enterprise clients in agile settings.
Demonstrated hands-on expertise with Optimizely SaaS integration, headless API frameworks, and enterprise content modeling.
Extensive mastery of Next.js, TypeScript, JavaScript, Next.js Middleware, and Vercel Edge Functions deployments.
Practical background in performing complex content migrations using custom scripting and AI-assisted tools.
Extensive experience creating and utilizing RESTful and GraphQL APIs, backend services in Node.js, Python, or Go, and SQL or NoSQL databases.
Solid familiarity with composable architecture, Storybook, design tokens, and modern CSS frameworks like TailwindCSS or Sass.
Comprehensive knowledge of WCAG and ARIA accessibility guidelines, Lighthouse audits, and Core Web Vitals.
Experience with automated CI/CD pipelines such as GitHub Actions or Jenkins, edge CDNs like Vercel or Cloudflare, and cloud platforms including AWS, GCP, or Azure.
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent technical background, combined with advanced C1+ English proficiency.
Candidates holding a degree in Engineering or a related profession must provide their professional license as required by Colombian regulations.
