Key Responsibilities

Partner with clients to understand technology needs, propose optimal solutions, and build lasting professional relationships.
Create and execute comprehensive technology strategies that align with broader business objectives and promote innovation.
Supervise the assessment, planning, and delivery of technology projects to ensure completion on time and within financial constraints.
Maintain rigorous quality standards across software development through performance optimization, thorough testing, and code reviews.
Identify, address, and mitigate technology risks while ensuring strict adherence to industry security and compliance guidelines.
Collaborate with cross-functional account leadership to support business development efforts and drive organic account growth.
Foster a culture of continuous learning, mentorship, and professional growth within the engineering community.

Requirements

Strong leadership background in building, scaling, and mentoring engineering teams consisting of 10 or more developers.
Proven track record of successfully managing complex, multi-workstream projects while meeting timeline and quality targets.
Ability to bridge technical excellence with business priorities by translating functional needs into precise technical specifications.
Experience managing both onshore and offshore development teams.
Capable of operating effectively under high ambiguity to design and evolve robust technology solutions.
Experience communicating delivery approaches clearly to client executives using non-technical language.

Nice to Have

Experience working with globally distributed engineering teams.
Experience with native mobile commerce and native payments.

Skills and Tools

React, AWS, GCP, Vercel, and React Native.
Modern architectural patterns including Jamstack and MACH.
Enterprise platforms such as Content Management Systems (CMS), Digital Asset Management (DAM) systems, and Content Delivery Networks (CDN).
AI coding tools like Gemini or Claude Code for spec-driven development and automated refactoring.
Autonomous multi-agent systems, including task planning, APIs, and evaluation frameworks.
Microservices architecture design at scale.
Third-party API integration, Auth0 authentication systems, and e-commerce payment flows.

Salary and Benefits

The salary range for this remote United States position is $163,000 to $200,000 USD. Placement within this range depends on relevant experience, qualifications, local market conditions, and internal equity factors.
