Role Overview

As a Senior Software Engineer for Android at Tools for Humanity, the focus centers on scaling and maintaining the World App ecosystem. The position involves designing native mobile features, improving user enrollment, driving account management growth, and crafting SDKs or cloud integrations that uphold strict user privacy.

Key Responsibilities

Drive the expansion of World ID and World App by introducing new verification methods, improving enrollment processes, and reducing user churn.
Develop product features, cloud integrations, SDKs, and privacy-preserving solutions for secure personal data attestation.
Collaborate directly with cross-functional groups including Product, Design, Marketing, Operations, Risk, Data Science, and Engineering.
Own core software components by designing, building, debugging, scaling, and maintaining them to meet engineering and team objectives.
Help advance an open and decentralized platform that enables third-party developers to integrate World technologies independently.

Requirements

Extensive background in designing and developing natively for the Android platform.
A proven track record of writing high-quality software, solving complex challenges, and delivering clean, elegant solutions.
Strong collaboration, prioritization, and organization abilities with a talent for thriving in ambiguous environments.
Demonstrated capacity to quickly learn, master, and apply new technical knowledge.
Clear written and verbal communication skills.
Experience channeling customer feedback directly into product definitions and engineering solutions.
Genuine interest and passion for domains such as digital identity, privacy, and decentralized finance.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated annual salary range for this position is $221,000 to $260,000, accompanied by a competitive long-term incentive package. Actual compensation is determined by qualifications, skills, and relevant experience.
