Key Responsibilities

Set and champion a clear product design vision aligned with company goals and brand values.
Lead by example by directly contributing to the most important projects as the most senior designer.
Recruit, develop, and mentor a high-performing product design team across various experience levels.
Partner closely with product and engineering teams to ensure cohesive, compelling user journeys.
Uphold the highest standards of design craft, visual clarity, and interaction consistency.
Advocate for the user through empathy, research, and data to create inclusive and accessible solutions.
Navigate complexity and ambiguity with calm leadership and resilience during periods of change.

Requirements

Ten or more years of professional experience in product design.
At least five years of experience in a leadership role managing design teams.
A robust portfolio displaying design excellence, systems thinking, and consumer-focused web and mobile solutions.
Impeccable taste and a deep passion for the design craft.
Proven track record of scaling and leading design teams within a tech-driven environment.
Comprehensive expertise guiding end-to-end product design from initial research to final implementation.
Strong familiarity with accessibility standards, responsive design, design systems, and current UI/UX trends.
Sound business acumen capable of balancing user needs against technical constraints and broader goals.
Comfort working inside agile product development cycles.
Exceptional visual, interaction, leadership, and communication abilities.
