Role Overview
Keeper Security seeks a Senior Software Engineer for AI Platform Integration to drive artificial intelligence initiatives across its application suite. The position involves hands-on full-stack development rather than research or model training. The professional works closely with engineering and artificial intelligence teams to remove technical barriers and deliver secure features into production.
Key Responsibilities
Design and construct full-stack features supporting artificial intelligence across the product lineup.
Handle technical dependencies spanning multiple codebases to unblock artificial intelligence development.
Write backend services, application programming interfaces, and integration layers connecting artificial intelligence functions to current applications.
Construct or update frontend interfaces that display artificial intelligence features to users.
Collaborate with artificial intelligence engineers to convert model requirements into reliable software.
Create reusable platform services for integration across various products.
Incorporate language model services, agents, and tool-calling workflows into secure environments.
Plan integrations focusing on execution safety, observability, and predictable behavior.
Troubleshoot complex issues related to application programming interfaces, authorization, data flows, and interfaces.
Contribute to existing codebases in adherence to engineering standards.
Evaluate trade-offs to find practical solutions that accelerate product delivery.
Maintain privacy and zero-knowledge principles during implementation.
Participate in architecture reviews, technical discussions, and code reviews.
Implement automated tests and integrate features into continuous integration and deployment workflows.
Track and enhance performance, latency, and reliability for artificial intelligence features.
Write documentation for integrations and shared services.
Use developer tools like Claude, ChatGPT, and GitHub Copilot to streamline coding and debugging.
Requirements
Seven or more years of professional software engineering experience.
Full-stack development expertise covering backend and frontend systems.
Experience building production backend services, application programming interfaces, and distributed applications.
Frontend development background utilizing JavaScript or TypeScript alongside frameworks such as React.
Backend language proficiency in Rust, Java, Kotlin, C#, Go, or Python, with Rust preference.
Ability to navigate multiple codebases and architectures.
Experience integrating complex systems through application programming interfaces, messaging, or services.
Understanding of software architecture, authentication, authorization, and secure design.
Experience shipping production software in software-as-a-service, cybersecurity, or enterprise settings.
Debugging and problem-solving abilities across technical layers.
Git workflow usage, automated testing, and pipeline management.
Capability to understand unfamiliar systems and write production code quickly.
Understanding of secure development practices.
Written and verbal communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
Experience using artificial intelligence developer tools for coding and documentation.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
