Role Overview

Keeper Security is hiring a Senior Program Engineer to lead complex, cross-functional programs spanning IT services, cloud infrastructure, and compliance readiness. The professional in this role will drive execution across the organization's IT and cloud roadmap, including cloud modernization, disaster recovery, infrastructure automation, Zero Trust programs, and stringent compliance frameworks such as FedRAMP High, DoD IL5, SOC 2, and ISO 27001. This position requires a combination of deep technical expertise and leadership capability to navigate cross-team dependencies and mentor growing engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

Direct end-to-end execution of federal platform, IT services, and infrastructure programs, including cloud modernization and security integrations.
Partner with leadership across Engineering, Security, Compliance, and Product to define program strategy, milestones, and success metrics.
Oversee large-scale AWS and federal cloud initiatives to guarantee scalability, cost efficiency, and operational resilience.
Coordinate the Infrastructure-as-Code operating model for GovCloud, encompassing Terraform coverage and automated deployments.
Manage enterprise disaster recovery initiatives, cross-region failover architecture, and resilience testing.
Drive Zero Trust identity programs, including KeeperPAM deployment and automated identity lifecycle management.
Partner with Information Security for FedRAMP High hardening, STIG validation, and continuous monitoring.
Recruit, onboard, mentor, and develop Federal Platform Operations engineers.

Requirements

Minimum of 8 years of experience in IT services, cloud infrastructure, platform engineering, or related technical environments.
At least 4 years of experience leading technical programs or complex cross-functional engineering projects in SaaS, cloud-native, or cybersecurity organizations.
Demonstrated background supporting compliance frameworks such as FedRAMP, DoD IL4/IL5, STIG, or DoD Cloud Computing SRG.
Strong expertise with AWS cloud services including ECS, EKS, Lambda, RDS, S3, and IAM, alongside AWS GovCloud familiarity.
Proficiency with infrastructure-as-code and automation tools like Terraform.
U.S. citizenship is strictly required due to the nature of certain contracts.

Nice to Have

AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional, AWS Certified Security – Specialty, or HashiCorp Terraform certifications.
Direct experience supporting FedRAMP High or DoD IL5 authorization processes.
Familiarity with NIST 800-53 control families, secrets management, or privileged access management platforms.
Active security clearance or the ability to obtain a U.S. Government clearance.
PMP certification.
