Role Overview

G-P is hiring a Senior Software Engineer - AI Platform to join a remote-first team in India. This full-time position focuses on creating cloud-managed and serverless-first platform ecosystems, turning prototypes into production-grade features, and implementing AI-first methodologies across the software development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

Apply an AI-native approach throughout the entire software development lifecycle.
Transform ideas into iterative prototypes and deploy production-grade code.
Design and build cloud platforms, services, and frameworks across the G-P ecosystem.
Build solutions tailored for cloud-managed and serverless-first platforms.
Rapidly prototype concepts to refine features before full production release.
Advocate for agile methodologies and architectural best practices, including the Well Architected Framework.
Promote scalability, speed, and high-quality software development standards.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues reported by customers and internal teams.
Develop and maintain comprehensive test suites covering unit, contract, and integration testing.
Mentor, coach, and support fellow software engineers through guidance and educational opportunities.

Requirements

Minimum of 8 years of experience building highly scalable enterprise services, platforms, or products.
Extensive background in creating large-scale distributed enterprise applications within geographically distributed teams.
Strong backend technical knowledge in technologies such as Node.js, Java, Python, Redis, and Golang.
Experience evaluating and selecting SQL and NoSQL database technologies including MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and DynamoDB.
Familiarity with modern cloud architectures and technologies.
Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to diverse audiences.

Nice to Have

Experience working in a startup or high-growth business environment.
AWS cloud platform experience.
Background in data modeling, data architecture, and data governance.
Experience integrating CRM systems like Salesforce into internal workflows.
Experience integrating third-party systems with internal and external workflows.

Prior hands-on production experience utilizing artificial intelligence.
