What you will do
- Design, build, and operate core AI Platform services including evaluation pipelines, agent and MCP infrastructure, and observability tooling.
- Take ownership of small-to-medium features from technical design through completion while operating independently within a defined roadmap.
- Maintain high reliability at scale through rigorous testing, monitoring, on-call rotation participation, and root-cause postmortem analysis.
- Collaborate directly with product and feature teams to build customer-facing AI features and translate their pain points into platform improvements.
- Share technical knowledge and best practices across the engineering group through thorough code reviews, clear documentation, and mentoring.
What you need
- Bring 5 or more years of professional experience building backend services and distributed systems in production environments.
- Demonstrate strong coding proficiency in a mainstream backend programming language such as Python or Java.
- Possess practical working experience with Kubernetes and modern cloud infrastructure.
- Show hands-on experience building with LLMs, which may include model API integration, retrieval systems, agents, or evaluation tooling.
- Display strong operational maturity through previous ownership of production services, live debugging, and incident response.
