SentinelOne addresses this challenge by establishing a new AI Platform team tasked with building the shared services, agent infrastructure, evaluation pipelines, and observability tooling that power every AI capability across the cybersecurity platform.

What you will do
- Design, build, and operate core services of the AI Platform, including evaluation pipelines, agent and MCP infrastructure, and observability tooling.
- Lead small-to-medium features independently from technical design through completion within a clear roadmap.
- Ensure platform reliability at scale through rigorous testing, monitoring, on-call participation, and root cause analysis.
- Collaborate with product and feature teams to build customer-facing AI features and translate their pain points into platform improvements.
- Share technical knowledge across the team by conducting thorough code reviews, writing clear documentation, and mentoring less experienced colleagues.
What you need
- Bring 5 or more years of professional experience building backend services and distributed systems running in production.
- Demonstrate strong coding skills in a mainstream backend language such as Python or Java.
- Possess hands-on working experience with Kubernetes and cloud infrastructure.
- Show experience building with large language models, including model API integration, retrieval, agents, or evaluation tooling.
- Display operational maturity with a proven track record of owning services in production, including monitoring, debugging live issues, and incident response.

- Production experience building with LLMs or demonstrated personal AI projects
- Experience shipping customer-facing product features
