Role Overview

The position involves working across diverse industries like finance, pharmaceuticals, education, and physical AI, designing systems that handle real-time trading, drug discovery, and autonomous vehicle sensor fusion. Responsibilities include translating complex technical needs into tailored solutions, executing proof of concepts, conducting performance benchmarks, and acting as a trusted advisor throughout the entire sales cycle.

Key Responsibilities

Engage with customers to evaluate critical data challenges such as genomics processing, AI model training, high-frequency trading, and sensor fusion.
Translate technical requirements into scalable, reliable storage architecture proposals.
Serve as the main technical advisor during client interactions and complex request for proposals.
Design storage solutions tailored for AI and machine learning training, high-performance computing simulations, data analytics, and GPU-accelerated workloads.
Create bills of materials, technical proposals, and system architectures.
Lead live demonstrations, technical proofs of concept, and performance evaluations.
Integrate solutions with cloud platforms, GPU clusters, Kubernetes, and popular AI frameworks.
Monitor emerging trends in AI infrastructure and storage technologies to collaborate with engineering and product teams.

Requirements

Strong foundational knowledge of data and storage architectures including object storage, SAN, NAS, and parallel file systems.
Familiarity with core storage protocols like S3, POSIX, NFS, and SMB, alongside network protocols such as TCP/IP, InfiniBand, and RDMA.
Curiosity regarding massively parallel technologies including GPFS, Lustre, and Exascaler.
Ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly to both executive stakeholders and technical engineers.
Candidates with 0 to 3 years of experience require a bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field, alongside coursework or project exposure to storage and systems.
Candidates with 3 plus years of experience should bring relevant backgrounds in technical consulting, pre-sales, or solutions architecture.
