Role Overview

The Client Director acts as a strategic leader responsible for expanding DDN’s footprint across enterprise and research institutions in the Middle East. The professional in this role focuses on high-performance computing environments and large-scale AI initiatives. By partnering with internal engineering teams, channel partners, and solutions architects, the director delivers tailored data infrastructure solutions that support complex GPU workloads.

Key Responsibilities

Drive revenue growth and meet or exceed assigned sales quotas across the Middle East territory.
Formulate and execute strategic territory and account plans for organizations building large-scale AI and high-performance computing systems.
Prospect and qualify new opportunities across telecommunications, financial services, healthcare, research, and enterprise sectors.
Establish trusted partnerships with executive decision-makers and senior technical leaders.
Collaborate with solutions architects to design, present, and pitch AI-optimized storage and data infrastructure platforms.
Guide the entire enterprise sales lifecycle, managing pipeline creation, accurate forecasting, contract negotiations, and deal closures.
Cultivate robust relationships with channel partners, system integrators, distributors, and OEMs to broaden market reach.
Represent the organization at industry conferences, events, and client meetings to foster new business.

Requirements

Minimum of 8 years of working background in enterprise technology sales, with a preference for compute, storage, networking, or infrastructure platforms.
Proven track record of selling high-performance computing solutions, cloud platforms, data center technologies, or AI infrastructure.
Demonstrated proficiency in handling intricate enterprise sales cycles that involve technical purchasers and executive stakeholders.

Nice to Have

Practical background in selling GPU clusters, AI infrastructure, or HPC platforms.
Familiarity with the broader AI ecosystem, including hardware and accelerators from NVIDIA, AMD, Intel, Google TPU, Cerebras, or Graphcore.
Understanding of enterprise storage systems such as parallel file systems, object storage, SAN, and NAS.
Experience collaborating with system integrators, channel partners, and distributor networks.
Exposure to modern data center environments and technologies like Kubernetes and OpenStack.
