Key Responsibilities

Direct research initiatives focused on resolving complex perception challenges within unstructured home settings.
Design and engineer cutting-edge computer vision algorithms that surpass current industry standards.
Create novel neural network architectures tailored for real-time performance on edge devices.
Develop advanced 3D geometry vision systems for accurate spatial awareness.
Construct and scale machine learning infrastructure to support large training datasets and ensure reproducibility.
Enhance algorithm accuracy, velocity, and reliability through continuous analysis and iteration.
Deploy complex machine learning pipelines onto resource-limited edge hardware smoothly.
Spearhead technological efforts aimed at reaching Level 5 autonomy in consumer robotics.
Guide junior team members and partner with Hardware, Electrical, and Systems engineering groups.
Shape the technical strategy and roadmap regarding perception functions.

Requirements

Bring four or more years of practical background dealing with applied problems in machine learning, computer vision, or robotics.
Hold a Master's degree in computer engineering, computer science, physics, electrical engineering, or a related field.
Demonstrate deep expertise in computer vision, machine learning, SLAM, multi-class object detection, and robotics controls.
Show a documented history of delivering production-grade research with tangible results in real-world settings.
Possess a robust publication record or equivalent proof of technical leadership.
