Role Overview

Matic seeks a Robotics Material Handler to join the team in Mountain View, CA. The position focuses on receiving, staging, and delivering components to quality control and final assembly stations.

Key Responsibilities

Stock quality-controlled subassemblies and components at final assembly lines to reduce operator movement.
Receive and unbox incoming parts while staging materials for quality control stations.
Break down packaging, handle waste, and keep facility pathways clear.
Assist with receiving and transporting pallets into and out of production zones.
Monitor material levels and restock stations proactively to prevent shortages.
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized workspace across staging areas.
Report material issues or shortages quickly to production leads.
Identify methods to enhance material flow, decrease handling time, and improve workplace safety.
Perform data entry tasks related to stock movement, including issuing, counting, and pulling items from racks.
Conduct cycle counting and inventory verification for accuracy.
Process outbound shipments using FedEx or similar software.
Complete additional tasks to support general operations.

Requirements

Perform physical tasks including lifting, carrying, and moving materials during a shift.
Demonstrate schedule flexibility and willingness to work shifts, including the evening shift from 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM.
Exhibit strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Work proactively and independently without constant direction.
Adapt quickly to shifting priorities in a fast-paced setting.
Maintain a reliable, punctual, and team-focused approach.
Communicate effectively with cross-functional team members.
