About this role
Coursera and Udemy are building a unified platform to help hundreds of millions of learners and thousands of enterprise customers navigate an economy transformed by artificial intelligence. This Senior Product Manager, Applied AI role sits within an emerging, early-stage deployment motion where you will own customer implementations from initial discovery through technical delivery and value realization.
You will work directly with enterprise clients to map their key workflows, translate business goals into technical requirements, and partner with Forward Deployed Engineers to ship scalable solutions. The position requires an entrepreneurial mindset to help establish the operational playbooks, decision frameworks, and product foundations needed to scale this new line of business across global markets.
Ideal candidates bring a strong blend of technical fluency, enterprise product management experience, and customer-facing leadership. You should excel at ambiguity, influence cross-functional teams without direct authority, and translate field-level insights back into the core product roadmap.
What you will do
- Lead customer discovery sessions with enterprise stakeholders to understand workflows, technical constraints, and desired business outcomes.
- Translate ambiguous problems into clear product requirements, acceptance criteria, and sequenced deployment roadmaps.
- Collaborate with Forward Deployed Engineers and internal engineering groups to design feasible, secure technical solutions.
- Manage delivery governance across internal and client teams by monitoring milestones, dependencies, and risk factors.
- Define value hypotheses and track adoption metrics to evaluate customer impact and return on investment.
- Partner with sales, legal, finance, and customer success teams to align on commercial scope and business cases.
- Synthesize deployment findings into reusable product capabilities and internal scaling playbooks.
What you need
- Bring eight or more years of relevant experience in B2B product management, technical consulting, enterprise software, or solutions delivery.
- Demonstrate a track record of taking complex technical products or customer deployments from discovery through production launch.
- Possess hands-on familiarity with enterprise platforms, data pipelines, APIs, integrations, and cloud architectures.
- Show strong customer-facing capabilities with experience engaging senior business leaders and technical stakeholders.
- Exhibit deep technical fluency regarding software security, privacy, and infrastructure considerations.
- Understand AI and LLM capabilities, production limitations, and responsible deployment practices.
- Maintain practical prototyping experience with AI-assisted or low-code tools such as Claude, Cursor, Lovable, or Retool.
Nice to have
- Experience deploying AI, machine-learning, LLM, RAG, or agentic solutions into production enterprise environments.
- Familiarity with AI evaluation, guardrails, human-in-the-loop workflows, observability, model performance, and responsible-AI practices.
- Experience working in education technology, workforce transformation, talent intelligence, skills, learning platforms, or other enterprise environments involving complex stakeholder and data ecosystems.
- Experience delivering products or programs across multiple regions, industries, or regulatory environments.
