Senior Mission Operations Engineer, Connected Warfare
About this role
Engineers who thrive on tackling ambiguous operational challenges and embedding directly with military units to deploy complex software and hardware systems will find a natural home in this role. Anduril Industries operates the Connected Warfare division, building mesh ecosystems and command-and-control infrastructure powered by Lattice OS to connect robots, humans, and sensors globally. The Mission Operations team bridges the gap between internal product groups and military customers, owning the end-to-end execution, deployment, and commercial growth of key accounts.
Day-to-day work involves orchestrating product deployments in the field, training end users, and collaborating closely with engineering and business development teams to shape future product offerings based on real-world feedback. This position exists to ensure customer mission success and drive top-line growth by building trust-based partnerships with military stakeholders. Ideal candidates bring a strong technical aptitude, an ownership mentality, and the ability to navigate organizational hurdles while representing the customer perspective internally.
What you will do
- Orchestrate the deployment and high-performance operation of flagship hardware and software products in the field.
- Collaborate with internal engineering, logistics, and technical operations teams to train end users and address product issues.

- Work side-by-side with military users to understand specific mission challenges and inform internal product development.
- Manage cross-functional engagement across business development, product, logistics, finance, legal, and contracting teams.
- Actively identify operational gaps, navigate organizational hurdles, and solve problems independently without waiting for direction.
What you need
- Demonstrate a mission-first mindset focused on the needs of customers and national defense capabilities.
- Exhibit an ownership mentality with a natural bias to assume responsibility and contribute to a performance culture.
- Possess technical aptitude and intellectual curiosity regarding machine learning, autonomy, distributed networking, or sensor fusion.
- Function as a structured thinker and problem solver with assertive communication skills and a solution-driven approach.
- Act as a high-value team member who displays humility, empathy, and the ability to build rapport at both user and executive levels.
- Act as a 360-degree leader capable of influencing people and navigating ambiguous situations in a flat, matrixed organization.
