About this role

Tracking and managing the environmental and regulatory reporting implications of a massive compute build-out requires dedicated cross-functional oversight. Anthropic needs a Senior Manager for Regulatory Accounting & Disclosures to own internal mechanisms that align financial and non-financial reporting while managing mandatory disclosures like EU CSRD and AU ASRS.

This person will build data management processes, develop risk assessment methodologies, and design assurance-ready controls for metrics including carbon, energy, and water. Working closely with legal, communications, policy, and sales teams, the successful candidate will also establish scalable approaches for responding to customer queries and disclosure frameworks. Someone with deep knowledge of mandatory reporting standards, cloud or data-center impact accounting, and multi-stakeholder data collection will thrive in this position.

What you will do

  • Develop and own internal mechanisms to track and resolve open questions on leases, capex, and company footprint changes for alignment across financial and non-financial reporting.
  • Prepare mandatory disclosure filings such as EU CSRD and AU ASRS while establishing risk assessment methodologies for compliance.
  • Manage corporate reporting on non-financial metrics covering carbon, energy, water, and other relevant factors.
  • Design controls, documentation, and tech systems to ensure non-financial reporting meets the same assurance standards as financial reporting.
  • Partner with legal, communications, and policy teams to assess the reporting landscape and set voluntary disclosure posture.
  • Build a scalable process for customer requests by maintaining an answer library, meeting Sales SLAs, and overseeing customer-level reporting methodology.

What you need

  • Deep working knowledge of mandatory reporting standards with experience building data management plans and defending methodology choices to auditors.
  • Demonstrated experience in cloud or data-center impact accounting involving electricity, energy, and supplier-specific data.
  • Proficiency in maintaining non-financial accounting platforms and managing multi-stakeholder data collection processes.
  • Familiarity with financial accounting standards and the ability to collaborate effectively with financial accounting teams.

Nice to have

  • 10+ years in reporting experience with end-to-end ownership of regulatory reporting deliverables
  • CPA and sustainability reporting credentials like FSA Credential or GRI Professional
  • Masters degree in accounting, finance, environmental science, engineering, sustainability, or a related quantitative field
  • Assurance experience along with ISO 14001 or public-sector procurement exposure
  • Experience building a repeatable reporting process from scratch and coordinating across Sales, Legal, Comms, and Finance

  • Optional equity donation matching
  • Generous vacation and parental leave
  • Flexible working hours
