Role Overview

Anthropic is hiring a Senior Manager, M&A Finance Integration to oversee the finance function's role in transactions from the letter of intent stage through post-closing execution. The person in this position will manage the operational integration plans, coordinate cross-functional teams, and direct the lifecycle of legal entities and newly formed subsidiaries. Operating as a day-to-day leader, the individual creates repeatable processes, maintains integration playbooks, and reports directly to the Director, M&A Finance Integration.

Key Responsibilities

Scope and direct the finance integration plan for every transaction phase, including due diligence, signing, and post-close milestones.
Coordinate the operational rhythm of integrations through workstream tracking, risk registers, and leadership reporting.
Drive Day 1 readiness by organizing bank accounts, payroll cutovers, accounts payable and receivable continuity, and chart-of-accounts mapping.
Manage the end-to-end legal entity lifecycle, spanning incorporation, tax registrations, banking setup, and entity wind-downs.
Build and maintain the Legal Entity Playbook and the modular M&A Finance Integration Playbook.

Requirements

Demonstrated end-to-end ownership of at least two finance integration projects or entity setup projects from planning to execution.
Working accounting fluency covering close calendars, charts of accounts, intercompany accounting, statutory reporting, and purchase accounting fundamentals.
Strong program management capability to scope ambiguous work and manage parallel workstreams without extensive oversight.
Experience with enterprise resource planning systems in an acquisition and migration context.
Cross-functional credibility with legal, tax, people, and corporate development teams.

Nice to Have

Ten or more years of experience in finance, accounting, or finance operations, with at least three years managing cross-functional programs at a high-growth technology company.
Experience building finance integration playbooks, template libraries, or integration management office infrastructure.
International entity experience involving new jurisdictions, statutory audits, local GAAP obligations, and employer-of-record bridges.
Experience with standalone-subsidiary integration models and equity-method investments.
Familiarity using artificial intelligence tools within workflows to automate program management tasks.
Professional accounting certification such as a CPA, ACA, ACCA, or CA.
Alignment with the company mission to build reliable, interpretable, and steerable artificial intelligence systems.
