Role Overview

The AI Platform Team focuses on helping marketers optimize ad campaigns and creative assets, including images, videos, text, and performance data. In this position, the engineer will take ownership of high-impact projects, building artificial intelligence solutions that streamline media and creative workflows. Professionals in this role will translate business needs into practical technical solutions and shape products utilized by hundreds of global advertisers.

Key Responsibilities

Design and build machine learning software systems that help users craft effective advertising experiences.
Process diverse datasets ranging from audio and video to text and structured performance metrics.
Strengthen the company's data platform and MLOps infrastructure alongside data scientists and software engineers.
Participate in team planning, retrospectives, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Collaborate with product, infrastructure, and engineering stakeholders to align solutions with customer requirements.
Stay informed on emerging machine learning innovations, focusing on generative AI, computer vision, natural language processing, and model explainability.

Requirements

At least 5 years of experience developing and deploying production-quality software.
Minimum of 2 years of experience delivering machine learning-powered software services.
At least 2 years of practical experience utilizing cloud infrastructure platforms like AWS or GCP.
Fluency in Python, with C++ or Java considered an advantage.
Hands-on background with contemporary machine learning frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
Understanding of MLOps tools and concepts, including MLflow and Kubeflow.
Expertise in feature engineering, model monitoring, diagnostics, and evaluation.
Solid grounding in calculus, linear algebra, and statistics.
Experience designing scalable data pipelines and maintaining services under service level agreements.
Strong English communication skills and an analytical, problem-solving mindset.
Preference for candidates holding an M.Sc. in a relevant discipline.
Ability to work on a hybrid schedule from the Helsinki office three days per week.
