About this role

Cosuno seeks a Senior Lifecycle & Retention Manager to build growth programs that turn new users into active, paying, and retained customers from Berlin or remotely. This role suits an experienced B2B growth professional passionate about building AI-native CRM systems and scaling marketplace liquidity.

Role Overview

Cosuno operates a B2B marketplace linking general contractors and subcontractors across the construction sector. As the Senior Lifecycle & Retention Manager, the candidate will join the marketing lead within a compact team to shape how the department scales. The mission centers on developing the growth engine that transitions users toward an automated, signal-driven framework capable of determining subsequent actions autonomously.

Key Responsibilities

Design CRM programs and lifecycle journeys that boost adoption and conversion, spanning initial tender discovery to paid conversion for subcontractors, alongside early product adoption and repeat tendering for construction companies.
Collaborate with the Marketing Lead to create an agentic, signal-driven system converting behavioral data, call insights, and enrichment signals into personalized triggers, replacing static paths.
Conduct A/B testing and utilize holdout groups to ensure decisions rely on incremental impact rather than sheer campaign output.
Expand successful initiatives into repeatable systems rather than relying on one-off campaigns.
Align journeys with Sales and Customer Success to facilitate human touchpoints when automation is insufficient.
Utilize CRM tools to drive marketplace liquidity by matching the right subcontractors with appropriate tenders while orchestrating email, in-app messaging, transactional communication, and recommendations alongside Product.
Support growth initiatives like referral programs, managing tasks from initial design through to CRM execution.

Requirements

Demonstrated ownership of CRM, lifecycle, retention, or growth programs with verifiable commercial impact, ideally within B2B SaaS or two-sided business models.
Direct experience influencing conversion, activation, or retention metrics alongside comfort with data and experimentation.
Genuine AI-native background with proven experience building AI-driven automation or agentic CRM systems.
Ability to write and execute SQL queries independently.
Capable of moving from data to insight, idea, implementation, and results autonomously while thriving in ambiguous environments.
Cross-functional collaboration skills across Product, Sales, Customer Success, and Engineering with a focus on measurable business impact.
Proficiency in written and spoken German and English.
