Senior Full-Stack Engineer - AI Cost Visibility- Poland(Remote)
About this role
The R&D team at DoiT is building an AI cost visibility product as part of DoiT Cloud Intelligence to help organizations understand and manage escalating AI expenses across model APIs, managed inference, and GPUs. This senior full-stack engineer will own the product end-to-end, working on Go backend services that ingest and model spend data, APIs, and React interfaces utilized by FinOps practitioners and platform engineers.
The role exists because AI is the fastest-growing line on cloud bills yet lacks clear visibility, requiring someone who can shape a young product in a rapidly developing category rather than simply follow an existing specification. The ideal candidate has an AI-augmented working style, using AI tools across the entire engineering workflow while applying judgment to balance velocity and quality.
What you will do
- Own features end-to-end by taking problems from customer pain understanding through design, implementation, release, monitoring, and iteration.
- Develop a deep understanding of AI spend dynamics, including token pricing, GPU economics, and how usage rolls up to teams.
- Utilize AI daily across the full span of work, including codebase exploration, prototyping, debugging, testing, and documentation generation.
- Design, build, and scale backend services in Go alongside product experiences in TypeScript and React.
- Build capabilities API-first so that features are fully accessible through programmatic interfaces for both humans and agents.
- Set engineering standards for the team through thoughtful design reviews, mentorship, and robust software practices.
What you need
- Bring 7 or more years of professional software engineering experience, including work on multi-tenant SaaS products and end-to-end feature ownership.
- Demonstrate strong proficiency in Go for backend services, data processing, and production operations.
- Possess strong skills in TypeScript and modern React with an eye for data presentation.
- Have experience building on public cloud platforms such as GCP, AWS, or Azure, along with working SQL proficiency against analytical stores like BigQuery.
- Showcase product-oriented thinking with a focus on user value and effective AI-augmented engineering workflows.
- Exhibit excellent English communication skills and the ability to navigate ambiguity in a fast-moving market.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of FinOps and FinOps products
- BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience
- Demonstrated portfolio of previous career builds
