About this role

An engineer who thrives in ambiguity, embraces an AI-augmented daily workflow, and wants to shape a young product category will find a great home here. DoiT International is expanding its R&D team to build an AI cost visibility solution that addresses the rapid growth of AI spend on cloud bills. Team members tackle complex multicloud problems by helping cloud-driven organizations understand token pricing, model APIs, managed inference, and GPU economics.

Working within this group means taking end-to-end ownership of features from Go-based backend services down to React and TypeScript interfaces. Because this is a rapidly evolving product, the right person will propose initiatives, define success metrics, and build capabilities that serve both human users and automated agents through API-first design.

Operating remotely across EMEA, the engineering group prizes autonomy, product-oriented thinking, and high standards for reliability and user experience. Candidates who bring extensive full-stack experience and a practical perspective on leveraging AI tooling to accelerate delivery will fit right in.

What you will do

  • Take ownership of features from initial customer pain point definition through to design, implementation, release, monitoring, and iteration.
  • Understand AI spend dynamics including token pricing, inference economics, and how usage aggregates across organizational teams.
  • Integrate AI tools into daily workflows for codebase exploration, prototyping, code generation, debugging, testing, and documentation.
  • Design and scale backend services using Go alongside product interfaces built in TypeScript and React.
  • Develop capabilities with an API-first approach so that both human operators and agents can drive the platform.
  • Establish engineering standards through design reviews, robust guard-rails, and mentorship for peers.

What you need

  • Bring seven or more years of professional software engineering experience, including background in multi-tenant SaaS products and end-to-end feature ownership.
  • Demonstrate strong backend capabilities in Go for building APIs, handling data processing, and managing operational realities.
  • Possess solid expertise in TypeScript and modern React with a strong sense for effective data presentation.
  • Show experience building on public cloud infrastructure, preferably Google Cloud, along with working proficiency in SQL for analytical data stores.
  • Exhibit product-oriented thinking focused on user value and underlying business reasons for building specific features.
  • Maintain an AI-augmented working style with concrete experience using AI tools across the engineering workflow.
  • Communicate effectively in English with strong self-organization, motivation, and comfort operating in ambiguous environments.

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of FinOps and FinOps products
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience
  • Demonstrating a portfolio of past career builds

Benefits

  • Unlimited Vacation
