About this role
Designing and building the core components for the AI cost visibility product requires creating Go backend services to ingest spend data and React interfaces for FinOps practitioners. The R&D team builds solutions within DoiT Cloud Intelligence to help customers track model APIs, GPUs, and inference costs across multicloud environments. Operating in a young product category means you will shape the roadmap directly, using AI tools throughout your daily workflow to handle everything from prototyping to documentation.
The engineering group looks for self-directed builders who understand the economic realities of cloud AI infrastructure and can carry features from initial concept through production monitoring. Someone who thrives here enjoys ambiguity, brings strong opinions about agentic tooling, and communicates clearly with both technical peers and business users.
What you will do
- Take ownership of features end-to-end, guiding projects from customer pain points through design, implementation, release, and monitoring.
- Master the domain of AI spend, including token pricing, GPU economics, and how usage rolls up to organizational initiatives.
- Integrate AI tools into daily tasks such as codebase exploration, prototyping, code generation, debugging, and testing.
- Design and scale backend services in Go alongside responsive user interfaces in TypeScript and React.
- Build capabilities with an API-first approach so both humans and agents can interact with the platform seamlessly.
- Establish engineering standards through design reviews, mentorship, and practices that maintain customer trust during rapid iteration.
What you need
- Bring 7 or more years of professional software engineering experience, including work on multi-tenant SaaS products.
- Demonstrate strong backend proficiency in Go for building services, APIs, and data processing pipelines.
- Show robust experience with TypeScript and modern React for creating intuitive data-driven interfaces.
- Build on public cloud infrastructure such as GCP, AWS, or Azure, utilizing SQL against analytical data stores like BigQuery.
- Apply product-oriented thinking to prioritize user value and practical problem-solving alongside clean code.
- Utilize an AI-augmented working style with concrete experience applying AI tools across the entire engineering lifecycle.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of FinOps and FinOps products
- BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience
- A portfolio of previously built software products
Benefits
- Unlimited Vacation
- Flexible Working Options
- Health Insurance
- Parental Leave
