Daily work centers on designing extensible React-based component systems, crafting command and control interfaces, and integrating AI-enabled workflow features to support military operations. Team members collaborate closely with design specialists and cyber experts, occasionally traveling to customer sites to deploy software directly onto hardware.

What you will do
- Collaborate with design teams and cyber subject matter experts to build a brand new UX product for offensive cyber missions.
- Design and build an extensible React-based component system to serve as a foundation for other teams.
- Develop user interfaces that power command and control, autonomous behavior trees, and data exfiltration pipelines.
- Work directly with program teams and customers during the deployment of real operational products.
- Contribute to technical leadership, design clarity, and long-term maintainability across a growing software stack.
- Incorporate AI and LLM-enabled workflow features to improve operator effectiveness without compromising reliability.
What you need
- Bring at least 5 years of professional experience designing, building, and operating production software systems.
- Demonstrate strong front-end engineering expertise in modern TypeScript and React application development.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues across the full stack including logs, networking, interfaces, and hardware boundaries.
- Maintain practical working knowledge of Linux environments and containerized deployment pipelines.
- Communicate effectively with cross-functional engineering teams to translate ambiguous requirements into clean user experiences.
- Reside in or be willing to relocate to the Washington, DC or Orange County, CA metropolitan areas.
- Maintain a willingness to travel up to 20% of the time to support program teams and customer events.
- Qualify for and obtain a U.S. security clearance.

- Exposure to AI and LLM integration patterns, inference workflows, or tool orchestration
- Track record of technical leadership and direct customer interface in complex engineering environments
- Prior work experience delivering software into air-gapped or otherwise constrained deployment environments
- Hands-on offensive or defensive cyber background
- Active U.S. Security clearance
