Role Overview

The Senior Design Engineer will take full ownership of complex frontend features, handling everything from initial scoping and architecture to polished delivery. Key Responsibilities

Take ownership of complex frontend features end-to-end, covering scoping, architecture, and polished delivery.
Push the boundaries of modern frontend technology to build visually refined user interfaces matching design specs.
Collaborate closely with product, design, and backend groups to turn ideas into performant user interfaces.
Maintain high standards for code quality, performance, and accessibility through testing and reviews.
Contribute to the evolution of the frontend architecture, component library, and design system.

Requirements

Five or more years of professional frontend engineering experience, preferably in high-growth or startup environments.
Deep expertise in TypeScript, React, and modern frontend tooling.
Experience building, maintaining, or contributing to shared component libraries or design systems.
Strong portfolio or GitHub demonstrating frontend development expertise.
Advanced CSS knowledge, professional experience with TailwindCSS, and semantic HTML.
Exceptional attention to visual detail with the ability to translate Figma designs into flawless interfaces.
Strong communication abilities and a high sense of autonomy and ownership.

Nice to Have

Background working on AI products, real-time applications, or complex data-heavy user interfaces.
Familiarity with Firebase or Firestore and shaping efficient frontend-backend interfaces.
Strong architectural capability to design scalable, clean frontend systems.
Academic background in Computer Science or a related technical field.
