Role Overview

Peec AI is hiring a full-time Senior Data Scientist to join the engineering team in Berlin. This role suits an experienced machine learning professional eager to shape the emerging category of AI search analytics in a fast-growing startup environment.

Key Responsibilities

Train, test, and deploy models powering recommendations that help customers improve visibility in AI search engines.
Build algorithms to extract actionable insights from AI search behavior and create data-driven brand strategies.
Manage the complete model lifecycle from early experimentation to production release alongside the engineering team.
Design and implement robust data pipelines for ingesting, processing, and analyzing high volumes of information.

Requirements

Demonstrated backend development expertise in Python, including building APIs, data pipelines, or machine learning infrastructure using tools like Docker and cloud platforms such as GCP.
Deep curiosity regarding large language models, with the capability to reverse-engineer AI search behaviors into product features.
Documented experience taking projects from research to production within a fast-paced startup setting while navigating ambiguous challenges.
Strong communication abilities to articulate complex technical ideas to customers and stakeholders.

Nice to Have

Contributions to open-source projects or deployed side projects available for review.
Experience presenting research papers at leading machine learning or artificial intelligence conferences.
Background as a founder or previous employment at a high-growth startup.
Working knowledge of TypeScript.
