Role Overview

The Senior Data Analyst at Tillster is a full-time, remote position requiring work in the Eastern Standard Time (EST) zone. This role suits an experienced data professional with a passion for uncovering insights, mentoring junior team members, and building scalable BI solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Own the end-to-end delivery of complex analytical initiatives, from initial framing to stakeholder action.

Design, build, and maintain high-performing Explores, dashboards, and LookML code in Looker.

Act as the primary Google Analytics subject matter expert, overseeing GA4 reporting and tracking strategies.

Design and support statistically valid A/B test experiments for Product and Marketing stakeholders.

Build self-serve analytics agents using LLMs and AI tools to allow non-technical users to query data in natural language.

Maintain data quality standards, write performant SQL queries, and collaborate with engineering teams to resolve upstream data issues.

Mentor Junior Data Analysts, conduct code reviews, and establish team-wide analytical best practices.

Requirements

5 to 7 years of total professional experience in data analytics.

4 to 5 years of advanced SQL experience, including window functions and query optimization.

3 to 4 years of expertise in Business Intelligence tools, specifically Looker and LookML development.

2 to 3 years of hands-on Google Analytics 4 implementation, configuration, and reporting experience.

1 to 2 years of Python programming experience for data manipulation and automation.

3 to 5 years of statistical and analytical experience, covering A/B testing, experimental design, and anomaly detection.

1 to 2 years of practical experience with AI-augmented analytics, LLMs, and prompt engineering.

4 to 6 years of business and communication skills, including cross-functional stakeholder management.

2 to 3 years of leadership and mentorship experience.

Nice to Have

Python programming experience for data manipulation, automation, and version control.

Annual salary ranging from $115,000 to $145,000 based on experience.
