Role Overview

The Senior Critical Facilities Technician oversees the physical infrastructure that powers advanced artificial intelligence systems. Key Responsibilities

Operate and maintain critical mechanical, electrical, and plumbing infrastructure in supercomputing facilities independently.
Troubleshoot and service HVAC systems, power distribution networks, and environmental control units while guiding junior personnel.
Monitor site safety standards and ensure full compliance with regional health and environmental regulations.
Manage facility equipment including chillers, cooling towers, generators, UPS units, and switchgear.
Conduct routine facility inspections, track spare parts inventory, and oversee scheduled maintenance shutdowns.
Draft and execute procedural documents such as MOPs, SOPs, and EOPs while tracking energy performance metrics.

Requirements

Hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or alternatively possess a minimum of six years of practical facilities operations experience.
Demonstrate proficiency with electrical power monitoring platforms and critical facility documentation.
Exhibit troubleshooting capabilities alongside familiarity with PLC control systems or building management software.
Communicate effectively in English through written and verbal channels.
Lift weights up to 50 pounds, handle hand and power tools, and navigate tight spaces or elevated heights up to 100 feet.
Work flexible 24x7 shift schedules as required, encompassing weekends, evenings, and holidays.
Possess a valid driver's license and maintain willingness to travel up to 10 percent of the time.
Complete pre-employment screening including background checks and drug testing.
