What you will do
- Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Python, SQL, Databricks, Snowflake, and Apache Airflow.
- Lead the integration of complex data systems to maintain data consistency and accuracy across platforms.
- Implement continuous integration and continuous deployment practices to enhance data processing efficiency.
- Collaborate with data architects and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical implementations.
- Oversee and mentor a team of data engineers to guarantee high-quality project delivery.
- Enforce best practices regarding data governance, security, and compliance.
- Optimize data retrieval methods and build dashboards or reports for business teams.
What you need
- Hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Accumulate 5 to 7 years of professional experience in data engineering.
- Demonstrate strong technical proficiency in SQL, Python, and big data technologies.
- Possess extensive hands-on experience with cloud services including Azure Data Factory, AWS Glue, Databricks, and Snowflake.
- Understand CI/CD principles, DevOps practices, and data architecture concepts like data mesh and data warehouses.
- Exhibit proven leadership capabilities in managing data engineering teams and handling multiple projects simultaneously.
Nice to have
- Certifications in Azure, AWS, or similar cloud technologies
- Certifications in Databricks, Snowflake, or related platforms
- Experience leading large-scale data engineering projects
