Role Overview

The Security Researcher position at Glow plays a vital part in planning, implementing, and maintaining security solutions for organizational software usage, with a specific focus on AI-native tools. Working directly out of the Tel Aviv office, this multidisciplinary role requires close collaboration with all product development departments to safeguard modern enterprise environments against emerging digital threats.

Key Responsibilities

Research how organizations utilize traditional software and AI-powered tools such as coding assistants, LLM-integrated IDEs, and autonomous agents to identify potential risk areas.
Analyze telemetry, external research, and surveys to construct a data-driven overview of real-world adoption patterns and prioritize threat mitigation.
Create effective prevention and detection mechanisms, partnering directly with engineering, data, and product teams to integrate these features into the platform.
Perform rigorous security audits of system implementations using threat models developed during ongoing research.

Requirements

Professional background in security research, threat research, or a closely related discipline.
Proficiency in data analysis utilizing SQL and scripting languages such as Python to extract actionable insights from complex real-world data.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to clearly articulate complex threat models to engineers and product managers.
Demonstrated ability to transition research findings into fully functional, shipped product capabilities.
Alignment with the Glow mindset, which emphasizes ownership, accountability, open collaboration, fast-paced execution, and comfort with ambiguity.

Nice to Have

Previous experience working on AI or LLM application security topics, including agent security, prompt injection, model supply chain risks, and securing coding tools.
Knowledge of developer tooling ecosystems, such as package registries, IDE plugins, and MCP.
