The Reseller Operations Manager, Japan & Korea position at Anthropic is an operational role based in Tokyo, Japan, focused on managing partner transactions, onboarding, and support across Japan and South Korea. This position suits an experienced channel operations professional who wants to build efficient regional processes for artificial intelligence resale motions.

Key Responsibilities

Manage end-to-end reseller onboarding for Japan and Korea, covering application intake, agreement execution, marketplace authorization, and Salesforce data maintenance.
Run hyperscaler reseller operations, including deal-registration validation, private-offer processing, and end-customer reporting for partner-sourced revenue.
Run direct reseller operations by handling partner quotes, order forms, order booking, provisioning, and commit tracking alongside internal teams.
Administer regional reseller incentives, including eligibility checks, quarterly payout validation, and partner disputes.
Provide first-line operational support for resellers in Japanese and Korean during local business hours, and localize regional partner content.
Manage local outsourced operations capacity and coordinate logistics for local-language certification and training.
Oversee regional reporting metrics such as registration volume, cycle time, activation rates, and attributed revenue.

Requirements

Several years of experience in channel, reseller, distribution, or partner operations within the technology sector.
Working proficiency in Japanese, Korean, and English to handle operational relationships across regions and collaborate with a US-based team.
Practical knowledge of major cloud marketplace reseller programs or experience in a direct resale motion with a track record of rapid adaptation.
Hands-on experience with quote-to-order, order management, or partner billing workflows.
Experience transforming manual processes into documented workflows, service levels, and reporting mechanisms.
Hands-on experience with Salesforce reporting and data maintenance.
Minimum education of a Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience in a relevant field.

Nice to Have

Background within the Japanese or Korean enterprise reseller and systems-integrator ecosystem, including local invoicing, credit, and consumption-tax conventions.
Experience with partner incentive or rebate operations, or working with a partner program during its launch phase.
Familiarity with PRM or deal-registration tooling, or building automations using Claude or similar tools.
