About this role

The Reporting and Controls Lead position at Anthropic is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to manage portfolio reporting for data center capacity delivery across the United States. This remote-friendly role is well-suited for candidates with a strong background in capital program scheduling who excel at creating a single, reliable view of complex infrastructure projects.

Role Overview

Anthropic builds safe and beneficial AI systems, a mission that requires unprecedented data center capacity and fast-paced delivery models. The Data Center Capacity Delivery team works alongside developers and general contractors to transition leased and partnered sites into operational facilities. In this role, the selected candidate owns the master view of the delivery portfolio, tracking milestones from early floor access to ready-for-service status. The position involves collaborating with field managers, third-party partners, and planning teams to reconcile schedules, maintain capacity projections, and build reporting that leadership relies on for executive updates.

Key Responsibilities

Own consolidated milestone tracking for active and upcoming delivery projects, including early floor access, floor access, and ready-for-service phases.
Validate schedule and status data provided by general contractors, developers, and third-party partners, resolving any discrepancies at the source.
Maintain portfolio capacity projections and track the variance to plan behind them.
Build and maintain reporting systems for executive updates and delivery reviews.
Establish data standards and integrated schedule tooling conventions alongside the Program Management Lead.
Automate reporting and data-quality checks whenever possible, utilizing AI-assisted tools.

Requirements

Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in project controls, program reporting, or scheduling for large capital construction programs such as data center, energy, or industrial projects.
Demonstrated ability to run consolidated reporting across a multi-project portfolio rather than just a single job.
Clear communication skills, both in writing and through charts, tailored for technical and executive audiences.
Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience in a relevant field.
Ability to work under a hybrid policy requiring time in an office at least 25% of the time, subject to specific role requirements.

Nice to Have

Program-controls experience on the owner's side, or background with hyperscalers, colocation facilities, or developers.
Experience with owner-side cost controls or earned-value reporting.
History of building planning or reporting tools that leverage AI-assisted development.

Skills and Tools

Fluency in scheduling, spreadsheet, and business intelligence tooling, including Primavera P6, Microsoft Excel, and Power BI.
Data-driven insights packaging and qualification.
Process building while executing ongoing operations.
