Realtime Analytics and Controls Developer
About this role
XTX Markets needs a Realtime Analytics and Controls Developer to build and maintain the mission control panel for one of the largest trading systems globally, managing between $250bn and $300bn daily. This hire will solve the challenge of providing absolute clarity on what hundreds of thousands of concurrent trading strategies are doing, supplying both high-level summaries and granular views for rapid decision-making.

Users of these systems range from the trading desk and quants to the CEO and risk management.
An ideal candidate combines at least five years of professional Java or C++ coding experience with strong communication skills and a pragmatic approach to prioritizing user needs. Someone who thrives in a collaborative, non-hierarchical environment and cares deeply about reliability, correctness, and system resilience will succeed here.

- Participate in the shared software platform development for the group and take part in the operational on-call rota.
