Program Manager, Safeguards Workforce Operations
About this role
Managing the end-to-end workforce lifecycle involves running onboarding, offboarding, device provisioning, and access provisioning for contractors, vendors, and business process outsourcing partners. The Safeguards Enforcement team at Anthropic detects and mitigates misuse of Claude, relying heavily on a rapidly scaling human review workforce that spans full-time staff, external partners, and contractors. Operating in a landscape of shifting priorities, the program manager oversees these operational workflows directly while simultaneously building repeatable, scalable systems of record.
Candidates who thrive in this environment enjoy fixing broken processes at speed and balancing direct tactical execution with long-term program development. The position requires partnering closely with Enforcement leads to translate review demand into capacity plans, while connecting dots across IT, Security, People Operations, and Human Data Operations to align standards and streamline workflows.
