Joining the Claude Platform Product Marketing team means owning the launch strategy for API features, developer tools, and foundational model capabilities that roll out on a weekly basis. Daily responsibilities involve partnering directly with Product and Sales teams to shape positioning, craft technical collateral, and run campaigns that drive platform usage. What you will do
- Lead end-to-end go-to-market planning and execution for new platform products, features, and capabilities.
- Develop compelling product messaging, positioning, and value propositions aligned with technical audience needs.
- Drive product launches that generate market momentum, from flagship releases to incremental feature updates.
- Design and implement developer marketing campaigns to drive API adoption and platform usage.
- Support sales enablement initiatives that equip teams to win through battlecards, pitch materials, and customer stories.
- Partner with Product to shape roadmap priorities based on competitive intelligence, customer research, and field feedback.
- Work closely with Developer Relations, Comms, Creative, Marketing, and Sales to effectively bring new products to market.
What you need
- Demonstrate a proven track record of developing and executing go-to-market strategies for API products or developer tools.
- Bring a strong technical background with the ability to understand and communicate complex AI features to diverse audiences.
- Excel at cross-functional collaboration, particularly in aligning Product, Sales, and Marketing strategies.
- Possess strong storytelling skills with a demonstrated ability to create diverse marketing content like blogs, case studies, and website copy.
- Have exceptional writing skills capable of adapting tone, style, and complexity for executives, technical users, and end customers.
Nice to have
- 10+ years of product marketing experience and at least 5 years focused on developer platforms, APIs, or technical products
- Experience in highly competitive markets requiring sharp differentiation
- A background in marketing AI/ML products or developer tools to enterprise buyers
- Experience working closely with Sales teams on strategic, technical deals

What is the remote and office work policy for this role?
Staff are expected to be able to work from the San Francisco or New York office at least 2 days a week, or at least 25% of the time. The company encourages applicants to apply even if they need some flexibility for an interim relocation period.
What is the compensation range for this position?
The annual compensation range for this role is $320,000 to $320,000 USD. For sales roles, this includes both the sales commissions or bonuses target and the annual base salary.
Does Anthropic provide visa sponsorship?
