Role Overview

Anthropic seeks a Product Manager for Enterprise Privacy to evolve and extend the governance controls required by enterprises and regulated sectors. Working across multiple internal teams and cloud partners, the person in this role will build product surfaces that enable customers to understand, govern, and verify data retention, access controls, compliance reporting, and data residency.

Key Responsibilities

Understand the data handling needs of external customers like CISOs, compliance teams, and government auditors, alongside internal stakeholders.
Partner with Privacy Engineering to deliver controls that unbalance impact against engineering costs.
Co-develop solutions with design-partner customers so that shipped changes pass real audits.
Steer architecture and investment decisions with a long-term lens across multiple cloud providers.
Define success metrics for privacy controls and self-serve compliance experiences.
Communicate prioritization trade-offs clearly to senior leadership.

Requirements

Experience taking a new product area from ambiguity to a durable roadmap and shipping enterprise controls.
Track record of driving platform capabilities balancing multiple customer and internal stakeholder needs.
Judgment to make prioritization trade-offs between customer demand, risk, and engineering cost.
Ability to translate privacy, safety, legal, and commercial impact into a coherent product vision.
Experience building collaborative relationships with engineers and cross-functional stakeholders.

Nice to Have

8+ years of product management experience with deep exposure to privacy, security, or compliance products.
Experience building or scaling audit logging, key management, data residency, retention, or access governance products.
Experience shipping controls across multiple cloud providers or partnering with AWS, GCP, or Azure.
Familiarity with certification, attestation, or trust center programs such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, or FedRAMP.
Experience using Claude, Claude Code, or comparable agentic tools.
