What you will do
- Collaborate with product managers, engineers, AI researchers, and other stakeholders to define product vision, strategy, and roadmaps while playing an active role in shipping.
- Understand the technical architecture of products and define primitives for new capabilities.
- Define feature areas with exceptional attention to detail and polish, identifying opportunities to improve the quality and consistency of broader flows.
- Craft beautiful, polished, and delightful user interfaces that build trust and showcase the power of AI technology.
- Maintain comfort working across code, design, prototypes, and learning new ways to communicate ideas and concepts.
- Find creative ways to ship high-quality work in a fast-paced, often ambiguous, and resource-constrained startup environment.
What you need
- Demonstrate experience designing and shipping complex workflows, enterprise or B2B SaaS, developer tools, or API products end-to-end.
- Show a proven track record of executing end-to-end on large and complex products, or a series of products, in ambiguous environments.
- Provide a portfolio demonstrating user-centered design thinking and polished UI craftsmanship.
- Maintain proficiency with modern design and prototyping tools, such as Figma.
- Possess experience using AI tools such as Claude Code as a creative partner in a personal design practice.
- Exhibit excellent collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and influence without authority.

What is the remote or office policy for this role?
Anthropic enforces a location-based hybrid policy. Staff are expected to be in one of the offices at least 25% of the time, though some roles may require more in-office time.
What is the compensation range for this position?
The annual base salary range for this role is $305,000 to $385,000 USD.
Does the company provide visa sponsorship?
Anthropic does sponsor visas and retains an immigration lawyer to help with the process. If an offer is made, the team will make every reasonable effort to secure a visa.
