Product Designer, Claude Developer Platform

Anthropic seeks a product designer to shape the Claude Developer Platform by establishing new interaction models for emerging AI capabilities. What you will do
- Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and AI researchers to define product vision, strategy, and roadmaps.
- Understand technical product architecture to define primitives for new capabilities.
- Define feature areas with exceptional attention to detail to improve the quality of broader flows.
- Craft polished and delightful user interfaces that build trust and showcase AI technology.
- Utilize code, design, and prototypes to communicate concepts effectively.
- Find creative ways to ship high-quality work in a fast-paced startup environment.
What you need
- Experience designing and shipping complex workflows, enterprise SaaS, developer tools, or API products end-to-end.
- Proven track record of executing end-to-end on complex products in ambiguous environments.
- A portfolio demonstrating user-centered design thinking and polished UI craftsmanship.
- Proficiency with modern design and prototyping tools such as Figma.
- Experience using AI tools like Claude Code as a creative partner in design practice.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work with cross-functional teams.

What is the remote work policy?
Anthropic maintains a location-based hybrid policy where staff are expected to be in one of the offices at least 25% of the time, though some roles may require more in-office time.
What is the compensation range for this role?
The annual salary range for this position is $305,000 to $385,000 USD.
