About this role

Role Overview

The Product Designer at Nash in San Francisco, with remote flexibility, shapes the future of AI-native logistics orchestration software. This role suits a technical designer with deep UX expertise who can bridge the gap between user discovery and frontend implementation for complex operational tools.

Key Responsibilities

Uncover and validate customer requirements through direct user interviews and feedback analysis to guide architectural decisions.
Build dense operational web interfaces, including dispatch workspaces, order management views, and data visualization tools.
Develop rapid concepts and working prototypes using Figma or code-based AI tools like Claude, Cursor, and v0.
Lead client-facing product demos and defend design choices to key stakeholders and customers.
Participate directly inside engineering teams to refine project scope, balance feasibility, and maintain high visual quality during implementation.
Help shape the agentic AI experience so automated logistics workflows feel natural to operators.
Maintain and evolve design systems by working with tokens, variables, and components.

Requirements

Minimum of 7 years of professional product or UX design experience featuring shipped work on complex software applications.
Demonstrated background in B2B product design handling intricate professional workflows and data-dense interfaces.
Exceptional discovery abilities to quickly identify core user problems and connect research to design outcomes.
Strong component-based thinking with an understanding of modern web patterns and frontend implementation.
Technical fluency that allows for smooth collaboration with software developers and comfort with design token structures.
Daily familiarity with LLMs and AI-powered prototyping tools as standard parts of the workflow.
Fast iteration mindset that favors shipping multiple early explorations over slow, perfect rollouts.
Fluent English communication skills with the ability to present effectively to clients.

Nice to Have

Specialized depth in design systems, including variables, theming, and advanced Figma component architecture.
Design engineering capabilities with hands-on coding experience in React, Tailwind, or code prototyping platforms.
